Essential oils have changed how we approach wellness in our home, and with my daughter, there is no exception. As a 3 year old who is constantly absorbing what is going on around her, and is always wanting to learn, I have enjoyed getting to share these tools and this experience with her, and her being able to reap the benefits as well.

I love cooking with cauliflower! Roasted, raw, riced, tossed, mashed- any way you can eat cauliflower I likely will. I have frozen it and put it in smoothies for crying out loud. I love it!

Happy Sunday Y’all. I had a pretty great day today! We got some family photos taken on a Christmas tree farm, I just finished an awesomely rejuvenating yoga practice with my husband and I finally finished a book I have been reading for the last month and a half.
I’ve been anticipating this post and sharing with you my results from the 7 day detox. I want to preface this by saying my results will be nothing related to the scale, in fact I didn’t even use the scale once on this detox to measure anything. To be, that’s not what detoxing is about, because there are so many more benefits.
I started using oils regularly in my home early on in this year, and have been reaping the benefits ever since! I’ve always enjoyed scents like lavender, peppermint, frankincense, but I hadn’t really been educated on using them or the super powers that they hold!
We are just back from our annual family cottage week. All rested and rejuvenated. This is our third year getting away and renting a cottage as a family.

In the busyness that is today’s world, our minds sometimes don’t stop. We are constantly wrapped up in this ‘there are not enough hours in the day’ mentality and that ‘we can sleep when were dead’ concept. Though I am hustling hard to build my health and wellness empire, I am constantly reminding myself and taking the time to ensure I have a good nights sleep. Truth is, I love my sleep! There is nothing better than crawling into my bed after a long day and drifting off to sleep.
