We are just back from our annual family cottage week. All rested and rejuvenated. This is our third year getting away and renting a cottage as a family.
Before I adopted a healthy lifestyle, I used to spend a lot of time restricting. I felt like restricting myself was the only way I would see the results I wanted and depriving myself would get me there. That was a time before I was equipped with the trust in myself to make the healthy choice, and the trust in my self control to be able to fluctuate and still be committed… before it was a way of living.
