These terms and conditions govern your participation in The Bliss Retreat organized by balance + bliss, hereinafter referred to as "the Organizer". By registering and participating in The Bliss Retreat, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

1. Registration and Payment:

Registration for The Bliss Retreat is confirmed upon receipt of your non-refundable deposit, as specified by the Organizer. Though the deposit is non-refundable you have the option to cancel your participation in the retreat spot and further instalment obligation up to 45 days before the retreat (prior to Feb 28th, 2025). At that time you will be refunded any previously paid instalments (minus deposit). If you cancel within 44 days of the retreat, you are responsible for 50% of the cost of the remaining retreat balance (cancelations between March 1-March 24, 2025). If you cancel on March 25th, 2025 or beyond, you will be responsible for full retreat payment. Extenuating circumstances are considered for exemption for this as determined by the organizer and the retreat team.

2. Retreat Details:

The Bliss Retreat will take place at Melia Punta Cana Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic as specified by the Organizer. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the retreat venue, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Organizer. Participants are responsible for booking their own flight to and from Dominican Republic. The retreat schedule, including workshops, activities, and meals, is subject to change at the discretion of the Organizer.

3. 0 Participant Responsibilities:

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards fellow participants, staff, and the local community. Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the retreat. The Organizer is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur during the retreat. Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary travel visas, vaccinations, or travel insurance required for their participation in the retreat.

4.0 Cancellation and Refunds:

In the event that the Organizer cancels The Bliss Retreat, participants will be entitled to a full refund (minus deposit) of any payments made. Participants who wish to cancel their registration must notify the Organizer in writing and are also treated with timelines from section 1 of these terms. Refunds, if any, will be provided according to the Organizer's refund policy, as specified at the time of registration.

5.0 Liability:

The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the retreat. Participants are responsible for their own belongings and are encouraged to secure valuables appropriately. The Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the retreat. Should anything arise related to in room or resort damages, the participant will be liable.

Participants are liable and responsible for any room service ordered to the room during the duration of their stay. Any room service charges will be billed to the participant after the retreat and will be subject to 5% interest if not paid within 30 days of invoice receipt.

6.0 Photography and Media:

The Organizer reserves the right to photograph and/or record The Bliss Retreat for promotional purposes. By participating in the retreat, participants consent to the use of their likeness in such materials. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify the Organizer in writing prior to the retreat.
